Video taken July 2021, Turtle Adventure Cooks Islands. Footage was taken by a hand held, no handle go pro close to the reef drop off in a channel on Rarotonga...
On this “My Latest Upload” page I will be sharing with you exactly that, the latest music, travel or vlog video I have created. This one is from a quick getaway to the Cook Islands, escaping the wet and cold Wellington weather and the rather depressing world wide pandemic that we are unfortunately apart of and fortunately have not been directly affected by. We are very lucky that New Zealand and the Cook Islands have created a travel safe bubble, so we thought why not use this opportunity.
Some Tips To Take Away
The last time we swam that channel, we paid 80 bucks per person to have a tour guide take us out on a paddle board. This time we knew the spot and decided to go on our own, good choice, as we later found out the same tour guide is now charging 189 bucks for the same experience. Tip: If you do decide to swim out on your own, make sure to head out when its low tide and the tide is at stand still. We found it rather difficult to snorkel back to the beach with the tide still going out.
